With over 2000 moulding samples from the industries top manufacturers our design center is stocked with everything you will need to get your project completed. Our professional design team can help you choose the correct products to make your art look its best.

Ready-Made/Designer Discount

Our ready-made/designer discount area has 100’s of beautiful mats and mouldings at great savings. With moulding starting at $2.50 a foot (cut and joined) you can get your projects done and stay on budget. We have 20 different ready-made frame sizes available and stock is being replenished every month. Artist Service

Skyline has worked with artists to professionally frame their work for over 25 years. We provide museum quality framing. Our artist clients enjoy the use of our Design Center where by appointment they often bring their customers to lay out the perfect framing option. Our designers, Jennifer and Patti, are available to assist you in the design process.

Skyline has experience helping artists prepare multiple pieces for shows. We also produce frames as simple or as complex as desired for single or multiple pieces. We can help you frame your work to best present its artistic value.

Equipment/Tools

Wizard CMC 8000 Mat Cutter

We use a WIzard CMC 8000 computerized mat cutter for cutting our mats. This ensures that we have precise openings every time. It is capable of cutting up to 8ply mats and can cut many openings and shapes. Stop by the shop to see it in action!

Bienfang Vacuum Hot and Cold Press

Our 52″x 98″ Bienfang Vacuum Press is a professional mounting and laminating system designed to provide the highest quality results. Its basically two machines in one – a dry-mount press and cold vacuum frame. It allows for a quick professional application of dry mounting adhesives and laminates, as well as wet and spray adhesives.

Vacuseal Cold Press

An oldie but a goodie! We have been using this 40″x 60″ cold press for decades and it still works as good as new. We mainly use it for spray mount applications on a daily basis when we don’t need the larger Bienfang press. If you have art that needs mounted, give us a try, you will not be disappointed.

Pistorious Double Miter Saw

The Pistorious Double Miter Saw is our production workhorse at Skyline Picture Framing. It simultaneously cuts left and right 45 degree miters and each finish cut is suitable for assembly. It has an impressive 14″ blade with over 100 teeth and can cut molding up to 5″ tall and 6″ wide!

• How to price framing – Skyline Picture Framing can provide you with our pricing guide to make pricing out your artwork easier to accomplish. Jennifer is available to provide guidance on the use of the guide and will come to your shop to provide this training upon request.

• How to design framing – Skyline maintains a Design Center where you may bring your customers by appointment to lay out your artwork and play with variations in design. We have an extensive array of sample mats and frames which Jennifer can help you with during your appointment. Our goal is to help you find the perfect synthesis of artwork and frame design.
